Sometimes, FlatPak applications cannot see files in your file system. An application such as PrusaSlicer which is only distributed as a Flatpak package may not be able to see the directories with STL or OBJ files or save GCODE files.
The FlatSeal application resolves permissions in general and file-system permission in particular.
Install the FlatSeal in Ubuntu by typing: sudo flatpak install flatseal
Then run the FlatSeal app and navigate to Filesystem. Add any mountpoints or file trees that are not showing up within Other files
