A YAD7 / Drupal 7 module lives under the sites/all/modules directory within the YAD7 source code. It can be placed anywhere under this directory and it will be found. Contributed modules are often placed in a directory called sites/all/modules/contrib.
There are two primary well-accepted ways to install YAD7 modules.

- Git
